A longer text – here – explores some of the concerns with terminology, but it is important to know we don’t aim to be prescriptive with our language, and as such, use the term ‘Participatory Practices’ to act as an umbrella term for the types of practices that involve ‘working with other people’.
These can occur in Community contexts, Arts and Healthcare projects, Prisons, Education, Outreach, Agonistic, Conceptual or even Activist situations, among others. The aim of this network is not to limit the type of engagements, but analyse the conditions under which those unique practices occur
